Международный правовой акт, содержащий обязательства Договаривающихся Сторон Конвенции по использованию единой Товарной номенклатуры, являющейся неотъемлемой частью Гармонизированной системы описания и кодирования товаров (ГС) в качестве основы для своих национальных тарифов и товарных и статистических номенклатур. ГС действует с 1988 г. Ответственность за разработку и изменение ГС возложена на Всемирную таможенную организацию
